Chan Chong San

Chan Chong San is Managing Director APAC of Edgewater Markets and leads the firm’s Singapore office.

Prior to joining Edgewater, Chong San served as the CEO of GFI Group Singapore where he doubled the firm’s regional targeted revenue over a three-year period. He has also held positions at Nittan Capital, OCBC Bank, HSBC, UBS, and other firms. Over a career spanning more than 30 years in the region, Chong San has repeatedly spearheaded significant growth of FX trading volumes and revenues, and has deep experience in the NDF space.

Chong San earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
