Alessandro Scarsini

Alessandro (Alex) Scarsini is the Co-Founder and President of Edgewater Markets.

Prior to co-founding Edgewater Markets, Alex was Head of the Hedge Fund Sales Desk across products at Deutsche Bank in New York. He has also held positions at Merrill Lynch, ABN AMRO and Barclays where he managed trading desks, institutional sales, prime brokerage and E-commerce businessesover a career spanning more than 25 years.

Alex earned his B.S. in Business Administration, Finance from Babson College, and earned his Baccalauréat from the Lycée Français de New York. He is fluent in Italian, French and Spanish.
